Dato' Seri Abdul Azim Bin Mohd Zabidi, a Malaysian, is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, having been appointed to the Board on 30 June 2010. He graduated with a Masters of Arts in Business Law from the London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom in 1983. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
He started his career in 1984 as an Officer in Bank of Commerce (M) Berhad and was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in 1986. In 1989, he was appointed as the Group Head of Corporate Banking Department, a position e held until 1990.
He joined Commerce Property Trust Managers Berhad (now known as Amanah Property Trust Managers Berhad) in 1990 as an Assistant General Manager and was promoted to General Manager in 1993. He was appointed as Group General Manager in 1994 for Commerce Property Trust Managers Berhad /Commerce Asset Fund Managers Sdn Bhd.
In 1999, Dato' Seri Azim was appointed as the Chairman of Bank Simpanan Nasional, a position he held until 2009. He was appointed Chairman of Sungei Wang Plaza Sdn Bhd in 2007, a position he holds to date.
