Bernama - XOX Reaches 100,000-Subscriber Mark |

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) -- New mobile operator XOX Com Sdn
Bhd announced on Thursday that it hit the 100,000-subscriber mark last
week with support from local mobile users.
Its president Ng Kok Heng said the company, with only its 010 prepaid
package in the market, managed to record 100,000 activations.
"This very much shows that we are on the right track with providing our
target market what they want and need and it is definitely a very good
beginning for us," he said in a statement.
Ng said with XOX's extensive distribution network of more than 7,500
dealers and nationwide coverage, activation count had been climbing
steadily from 20,000 at end of April this year.
He said the company was currently in the final stages of preparation and
testing for its new package to be launched within a month.
Ng said that XOX was confident of hitting 200,000 activations by end of this
year with its new package.
The package, he added, will offer mobile users the combined benefits from
both postpaid and prepaid services, featuring the "best of both worlds".
